Mix the soil.
Sandy Soil
- Prepare soil by mixing
- 1/3 existing Soil
- 1/3 Soil Conditioner/Leaf Gro
- 1/3 Topsoil
- 1 cup of Espoma Bio-tone Plus
Clay Soil
- Prepare soil by mixing
- 1/3 existing Soil,
- 1/3 Soil Conditioner/ Leaf Gro
- 1/3 Sand or Gypsum
- 1 cup of Bio-tone
Water thorough with a slow soaking.
Apply a 2-3 inch layer of Wentworth’s Shredded Hardwood Mulch.
Center plant in hole 1 to 2 inches above grade. Cut & remove all cord. Loosen and rollback 2/3 of the rootball.
Backfill with soil mix
2/3 existing soil
1/3 Soil Conditioner
1-2 Cups of Bio-tone
Use Plant Stakes.
Pack firmly. Make a
saucer of soil around plant.
